Wine Appreciation Class Offered Monthly
Our Wine Appreciation class is a single, all encompassing class conducted by our Assistant Winemaker and in-house sommelier George Myers. The class is great for both wine novices and experts in a single, 4 hour class that includes lunch. These classes are conducted monthly at the winery beginning at 10:30 am on the second Saturday of each month for $65/person plus tax (Connoisseur Wine Club Members for $55/person+; VIP Members for $20/person+).
Lunch includes a choice from various sandwich and pasta dishes plus the Chef’s dessert which will always include chocolate. The class incorporates the pairing of wine with food as part of the lunch experience. In addition, each student will receive two more items: 1) a certificate good for either a 2 for 1 wine tasting or 10% off a meal at the Pinnacle Restaurant, and 2) a $5 certificate valid for any same day wine purchase in our tasting room. Class sizes are limited so please call in advance to make a reservation. Also gift certificates are available and make a great present. Since this is a “hands on” tasting class, all individuals must be at least 21 years of age.

Wine Appreciation Class Menu
Included in the class fee is your selection of Sandwich/Pasta and a Chocolate Dessert selected by the chef. Please indicate your selection below. Meal will be served between 12:30pm and 12:45pm with dessert to follow later.
Wasabi Aioli Blackened Ahi Sliders (3)
Perfectly sliced Ahi with wasabi aioli sauce, freshly made coleslaw, and a side of mango salsa
BLATT
Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato, and Turkey sandwich served on a croissant with fresh slaw
Chipotle Chicken Sandwich
Fresh rosemary marinated chicken breast grilled, fresh tomato, Monterrey Jack cheese and a sage aioli served with fries
Chef’s Wine Country Beef Sandwich
Thinly sliced sirloin steak sautéed with garlic, onions, bell peppers tossed with Chef Gianni’s special Syrah sauce and topped with Monterrey Jack cheese on a soft French roll
Garden Vegetable Pasta
Penne pasta tossed with red and green peppers, squash and zucchini in a Madeira cream sauce
Lobster Mac & Cheese
Penne rigate pasta prepared in a four cheese sauce with lobster and prosciutto
