Purchasing Wine

You must be 21 years of age to order or receive wine from us. All wine orders are sent with “Adult Signature Required” stickers, and the carriers that deliver our wines are required to check for identification upon delivery. Verification of age is required at the time of delivery. Failure to produce age verification forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. If this happens, the order may be held with the local shipping company until appropriate identification is produced, or it may be shipped back to the winery. All associated costs will be the responsibility of and be charged to the customer.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors, and we take steps to ensure that minors cannot purchase or receive wine from us.

If you need to inquire about your order, please e-mail [email protected] or call our (951) 676-8231, Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm, PST.

Shipping Policy

Wine sold to you is sold in California and title passes to you, the buyer, in California. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wine. We make no representation concerning your legal rights to ship or receive wine into any state outside of California or into any country outside of the United States. In fact, there are certain states and countries that we cannot ship to. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to your selected destination. You must be 21 years or older to buy wine. By placing your order you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient are at least 21 years old. When the wine is delivered, the recipient will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. The willful misrepresentation of your age or the age of the recipient is a crime in most states. We are committed to your complete satisfaction. If you are ever unhappy with your order or somehow your wine shipment has become damaged please call us at 951-676-8231. We ship on Monday-Friday. Sorry, delivery on weekends is generally not available. In the event of extreme temperatures your shipment may be delayed to protect it from heat/cold damage with prior arrangements.

Return Policy

Falkner Winery is committed to the production of high-quality handcrafted wines and your complete satisfaction is our goal. We utilize the best quality shipping companies available. Please inspect all packages as soon as they are received. Should any bottle(s) be broken during shipping, please contact us [email protected] or 951.676.8231 within 48 hours of receipt of your package(s), so that we can initiate a claim with the shipping company. Please keep the original package(s) and its contents exactly as you found them if at all possible. Understand that if the broken product cannot be retrieved, we cannot receive compensation for the loss. Returns cannot be processed after 10 days.

All Falkner wines are stored in a temperature-controlled environment and are in excellent condition upon leaving the fulfillment center. Any return claim due to a defect in the product will be addressed on a case-by-case basis, and a replacement bottle may be offered if one is available or, if not, another may be substituted. In this instance, keep the bottle, its unused contents, and the cork. Wine should not be returned without prior approval from Falkner Winery. Please address all concerns of this nature to [email protected] and make sure to include customer name and address, date of purchase, product name and vintage, and reason for concern.

Temperature extremes can pose a threat to the overall quality of the wine. To this end, we do our best to monitor the weather and will delay shipping in known extremes of temperature whenever possible. However, we cannot assume liability for wines that are overheated or frozen if weather changes occur during transit.

Refused Shipments

Orders that are shipped and refused by the customer or returned by the shipping company as “unable to deliver” will be resent to the address on file one more time with recipient paying for the reship for a total of $16.57 billed to the card on file.
